Will not be covering that wedding or any of the looks, not sorry about it.
Anyway, let’s get into it.
Anna Wintour is stepping down… kind of.
She’s stepping down as editor in chief of Vogue, but she is still very much the global chief content officer of Condé Nast and the global editorial director of Vogue. If anything this is perhaps her priming someone for the job(s) when she actually steps down. Also so funny of her to change the title to head of editorial content. She really said I WILL be the last EIC at Vogue and that’s final!
Remember when I dressed up as Anna for Halloween.
- Haim For Interview; There’s something very Charlie’s Angels meets The Powerpuff Girls about this that I’m into— more so than all the other direct remakes they’ve been doing for this latest album rollout. Styled by Tess Herbert.
- Rachel Zegler for i-D; I live for Rachel. The styling of this shoot? Not so much. Styled by Ron Hartleben.

- Cole Escola for Vulture; Oh this Little Edie moment is so incredible. How can you not be obsessed with Cole? Everything they touch turns to gold, I swear. Styled by Daniel Edley.
- Louisa Jacobson for Numéro Netherlands; My newest crush giving me more reasons to have a crush! I mean, this isn’t a super groundbreaking editorial, but I love the looks that have more of a menswear touch. Styling by Anna Katsanis.
- Pedro Pascal for Vanity Fair; There is much to say here, but I will say none of it because digital footprint. Sometimes we need to save things for the group chat. Also a really lovely read btw! Styled by Beat Bolliger.
- Bad Bunny for Variety; I forgot this one last week, and how could I!! See above for commentary. Styled by Law Roach.
- The MoMu is giving The Antwerp Six an exhibit!!!!!!!
- Kylian Mbappé being the first face of Jonathan’s Dior is interesting and smart and there’s something there between this and that photo of Basquiat. Someone that’s not me should write it.
- The next A Magazine Curated By is by Willy Chavarria<3
- Also! Rumor that Fendi is looking at Willy!!!!!!!!
- SKIMS did a collab with Roberto Cavalli. I think a collaboration with Cavalli would have been more relevant, like, last year. Also, I know I once said that Nadia Lee Cohen gets the best creative out of Kim, but I think they’ve fallen into something familiar that’s getting boring and repetitive again.
- The Demna Balenciaga internship email is a delicious kind of petty.
- Also this reel Camille Charriere posted is everything.
- Rick Owens is starting an OnlyFans for his feet and it kind of looks good tbh.
- Showing up to the movie you were cut from? She’s better than me! But being the best dressed there regardless is more my speed. Really beautiful look from Balmain, but I usually love their more structured stuff, so not surprising. This metal weaving is stunning.
- Oh she came for BLOOD. The top is from Fall 2025 and the skirt is custom. I mean, obviously, the top is insane work, and a prime example of why people want Dilara at McQueen. I enjoy the skirt too, but I do think the top and bottom don’t feel connected enough. The skirt could have been a continuation of the top, or it could have still let it be the shining moment in a way that felt more cohesive.
- There was a lot of great looks in the audience at the Saint Laurent menswear show this past week, as there usually is, but this one stuck out to me. I don’t know, something about it is so delicious. I love the ribbed tank layered over the shirt and tie. Also, the black shoe really works for me here? There’s something very sterile about it all (complimentary).
- Rihanna is a Dior girly, and I feel like Jonathan’s work is going to make so much more sense for her than Maria’s did. I mean, just look at what she wore to attend his first show!! I love how the prints of her cape and the color of her waist coat all came down the runway on different pieces. A lot of the women seemed to be wearing things that felt like a preview of womenswear, but Rihanna’s was a custom based on this debut menswear collection, and it was delicious. Rocky looks fine.
Now this is archive referencing I can get behind. I can’t prove it, but I feel like this has Mathieu’s fingerprints on it. God, I can’t wait for his Chanel. Anyway, this is referencing a look from SS2003 Couture. For Rihanna, the under skirt goes all the way down— which I prefer— and this lovely blue color is quite fitting of the smurf of it all. I’m also just obsessed with that sprinkling of feathers. It’s gorg.
- Sabrina was in a little New Look moment and it was lovely! It’s simple, but that jacket is really stunning and gray is a Dior signature. I feel we also saw this kind of accordion pleating on some of the jackets in menswear.
- Joe Alwyn looked good, but his look gave me Jonathan Anderson drag the most out of all of them. He was also wearing a little gold chain choker with a ladybug on it—cute!
- Doechii went full Westwood at Glastonbury and it was perfect. The school girl vibe obviously fits in with the imagery she’s been playing with and it’s all fabulous. The archive pull is fun and I’m kind of obsessed with the Saturn nipple covers.
- Dan Levy looked incredibly dashing in this Tigers of Sweden look!! Like, I know it’s nothing groundbreaking, but it made me audibly react. I mean, look how perfectly those jeans rest on the boots!
So that was this week! Menswear reviews coming to you in a couple of days. Also, on a side note, I went to see Cabaret on Broadway yesterday and Orville Peck is an incredible Emcee. I love Cabaret and I love Orville so I didn’t think I’d be disappointed, but I was truly blown away. Highly recommend going to see him if you can— his run ends on July 22!
TTYL!!!
